This is a one of a kind carved Malachite Jewelry Box. The Malachite is the old style, deep and rich in color very dense and so perfectly detailed.
I can not say enough about how nicely detailed this vintage carving is.
This box was purchased from a family collection going back several generations and you can imagine how rare it is to get a jewelry box handmade in Russia with the matching hand carved lid making this a true treasure.
